Association of Public Service Alliance Retirees The Association of Public Service Alliance Retirees

The Local

It is high time that PSAC members take seriously all the aspects of RETIREMENT which part of continuity of life after work.

The local is the source of information the Association needs to advance and challenge all the parameters that plot the complexity of the Public Service Pension Act.

Today, we have the proof that governments have no RESPECT whatever for seniors and former members of our union who are retired.

With a well structured Association, supported by PSAC Locals, we can ensure that all aspects of the Pension become debatable and negotiable, which is currently not the case.

Local participation consists:

  1. To provide the Association, as soon as possible, with the name and address of all members who are retiring;
  2. Recruit all the members over (50) years old, by providing the names and address of those members. All these future retirees have the right to perfectly understand and to know what are theirs benefits;
  3. Gather the member's concerns and questions on matters dealing with RETIREMENT and PENSION.

All affiliated Locals have the right of voice and vote at the Association Convention at the same level as a member.
The Association formally commits to respecting the factor: VOLUNTARY of the member in joining the organization. It is there that begin RESPECT
