Kay Sinclair is the PSAC's Regional Executive Vice-President (REVP) for B.C. She was elected the Alternate REVP for B.C. in January 2006 and subsequently became the REVP when Patty Ducharme was elected National Executive Vice-President (NEVP) at the PSAC Triennial Convention in May 2006.
As the REVP, Kay is responsible for the following activities in her region: Regional Council, organizing and recertifications, education, political and social action, women's and equity programs, Area Councils, Directly Chartered Locals and separate employers, B.C. Federation of Labour and related committees and District Labour Councils.
She shares national responsibilities for the following portfolios:
- Student Employment and Youth
- Environment
She also shares responsibility for the PSAC National Pride Conference with REVP Maria Fitzpatrick and chairs the Environment Committee of the PSAC National Board of Directors.
Kay was working for the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), assessing corporate tax returns, when she became REVP. She has always been very active in the Union, particularly in the areas of human, women's and LGBT rights and has held both Local and National positions in the Union.
