Public Service Health Care Plan (PSHCP)

The PSHCP is a benefit incorporated in collective agreements where the Treasury Board, and certain other Crown Corporations or Agencies including CFIA, CCRA and Parks Canada are the Employer.

For the Federal Public Service in general, The PSHCP is included in your collective agreement in the article entitled National Joint Council Agreements.   Provisions included here are negotiated by all the participating Unions in the Federal Public Service in a separate forum.   Changes to these agreements are negotiated separately from collective agreement negotiations

The current provisions of the plan are in effect until March 31, 2005.

During the next several months, we will be highlighting different elements of the plan and outlining the areas where we will be seeking changes to ensure that coverage continues to be competitive with other employers.

For further information the following link will take you to the provisions of the plan and other valuable information.
