CRA Tentative agreement ratified; new agreement signed  

The tentative agreement with the Canada Revenue Agency has been ratified by a majority of PSAC members.   Voting concluded on December 8 th .  

The union and the Agency wasted no time once the results were known and the new agreement was signed on Friday, December 10 th .   With the exception of wage increases, which are retroactive to November 1, 2003 and November 1, 2004 respectively, and the adjustment to the MG group effective November 1, 2003, all other changes are effective as of the date of signing.    

CRA has 90 days to fully implement the agreement, including issuing retroactive pay.   The new agreement expires on October 31, 2007 .

We expect to be able to post the new collective agreement electronically in January.   The CRA is in the process of making arrangements for the printing of the agreement and its distribution to the members of the bargaining unit.
