PSAC 2006 National Convention - May 1- 5, 2006

Call for nominations

Delegates at the 14th PSAC National Triennial Convention will elect two PSAC National officers to serve a three years mandate for the positions of: National President and National Executive Vice-President. As well, delegates will elect the Alternate to the National Executive Vice-President.

The nominations for these positions will be accepted from PSAC members in good standing as of Thursday April 27, 2006 at noon EST. Nominations for the above mentioned offices shall be in writing, signed by a nominator and a seconder, each of whom shall be accredited delegate at the 2006 Convention.

Candidates will be invited to address the delegates at the PSAC National Convention for a maximum of three minutes in the reverse order of nomination which means that the first nomination received will be speaking last. Candidates may also have a delegate of their choice speaking on their behalf.

Nominations from members in good standing that are not delegates at the 2006 Convention, must be submitted no later than 3 p.m. EST on Thursday, May 4th 2006.

All nominations must be submitted by fax at 613-236-4405 or handed to a member of the Nominations Committee, chaired by John Baglow.

Please note that nominations of PSAC National Convention delegates will also be accepted from the floor during Election period.
