PSAC Pre-Convention Discussion Papers

In a little over a year, the PSAC will meet in Convention to chart a course for our union over the next three years. Convention delegates will have an opportunity to review the PSAC's performance over the past three years, elect a leadership team and address resolutions and policies for the future.

The pre-convention cycle started with the Prairie Regional Convention in November 2001 and continues with the remaining 6 regional Conventions, 17 Component Conventions and PSAC Health and Safety, Access, Unity and Women's conferences to be held in 2002.

In preparation for this conference and convention cycle, the PSAC National Board of Directors mandated the PSAC to develop and disseminate a series of papers for discussion at the conferences/conventions and amongst the membership at large.  It is our expectation that the discussion documents will be developed and presented to the PSAC Convention as policy papers that will include an action plan.
