Federal Real Estate Review to Begin with Secret Document Briefing

Ottawa - The Public Service Alliance of Canada will be the lead witness at the House of Commons committee on Government Operations and Estimates, which is beginning its review of the Federal Government's Real Estate Plan on Wednesday, December 5.

PSAC National Executive Vice-President Patty Ducharme plans to give the Committee a briefing on a secret document obtained by the PSAC concerning the recent sale and leaseback of seven federal properties.

Joining Ms. Ducharme will be Mike McCracken, Chairman and CEO of the Ottawa-based economic research firm Informetrica.

The meeting will take place at 3:30 pm in room 308 West Block.
