PSAC Bargaining Units with Treasury Board (PA, SV, TC, EB, FB)
Negotiations with Treasury Board: SV Group
The SV Team was back in late February for a productive session with the employer.
Dialogue around Ship’s Crews demands and the apprenticeship program resulted in a productive discussion regarding Ship’s Crew issues as well as the signing off on language on the apprenticeship program.
During the session, we also discussed the following:
- Early Retirement for Emergency Workers and Law Enforcement
- Harassment
- Child Care Fund
- Work Descriptions
- Shift Premiums
- Allowances
At the next session in late April, we expect to make a further presentation on Injury-on-Duty Leave.
We expect the employer to make a presentation on Classification and to provide a counter-proposal on Maternity Related Reassignment or Leave.
Once again, we emphasized our position that the elimination of zones is a key priority for the SV Group. It is demoralizing for members to be singled out from national rates of pay.
