PSAC-UPCE members - Protect your rights at work!
PSAC continued to stand with you in defending your rights; in paying your benefits, and challenging Canada Post to return to the table and negotiate a fair collective agreement that meets your needs. PSAC also negotiated a return to work protocol that protects all members from discipline or legal action for any actions they took in the period leading up to the strike or during the strike. A collective agreement is now in force and you are entitled to every protection it offers, thanks to your collective solidarity.
I know that the return to work will be challenging, emotional and perhaps stressful. You may face forms of harassment by petty-minded managers. If you face any such conduct, please ensure you document it fully and GRIEVE. In addition, PSAC legal counsel will be reviewing all reports of employer misconduct in the return to work period and beyond, in order to ensure that no unlawful reprisals are taken against workers who took strike action. Be confident. Be proud. Be unwavering and vigilant in asserting your legal rights under your collective agreement. PSAC will be unwavering and vigilant in advancing those rights on your behalf.
