Activities for Activists: Education on the Picket Line

Picket lines are one of the most well known symbols of unions - they are the place where groups of workers and activists come together in support of each other and their common goals. For many union activists, the most enduring and defining moments of their union experience come from the picket line.

The “Activities for Activists: Education on the Picket Line” booklet contains activities and ideas to help us “seize the moment” that picket lines provide - to engage union members (and their supporters), learn something about workers and their issues, boost energy levels, and maintain the picket line as a place of solidarity and energy.
