It's Time to Enact Health and Safety Legislation for Parliament Hill Workers

Parliamentary Employment Staff Relations Act Part III

The American Government did it!
Why not ours?

The U.S. Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 which became law on January 23, 1995, was passed with unanimous consent in the House of Representatives. This law now includes the application of laws which include the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) of 1970. Many of these members have admitted to the double standards that have applied to various pieces of legislation leaving employees on Capitol Hill without various rights and protection received by other workers across the United States. The American government has admitted their error and have made the effort to right this wrong.
