Negotiation
of Classification Plans for Separate
Employers
PSAC Classification and Equal Pay Officers are
assigned to a variety of separate employers and provide representation on classification
grievances and the negotiation of new classification plans for these separate employers.
PSAC Classification and Equal Pay Officers are familiar with a variety of classification
plans, including the present federal public service plan, UCS, and the Hay Plan. The PSAC
has also developed its own classification plan, which has been adopted by a handful of
separate employers.
